A structured clinical system for regenerative care

RMI Health is a physician-led regenerative medicine clinic in Costa Rica, delivering advanced therapies through structured medical protocols. Every program is guided by clinical evaluation, in-house laboratory control, and continuous physician oversight, prioritizing safety, scientific rigor, and measurable biological outcomes.

Our philosophy

Care guided by clinical reasoning

At RMI, regenerative medicine is delivered through sequencing, not selection. We believe biological systems require preparation, immunomodulation, and controlled delivery in defined order. For this reason, our protocols often begin with therapeutic plasma exchange before cellular therapies are introduced.

Clinical appropriateness

Regenerative care is recommended only when medically suitable. Availability does not determine recommendation. Clinical judgment does.

Biological compatibility

Therapies are introduced within a prepared physiological environment, aligned with structured sequencing and laboratory control.

Risk assessment

Risks, limitations, and contraindications are evaluated clearly before proceeding. Decisions are made with transparency.

Physician discretion

Final recommendations and eligibility decisions are determined by the attending physician to ensure patient safety and appropriate care.

Medical Leadership

Renowned medical governance

The Medical Leadership Team at RMI Health sets the institute’s clinical standards, leads protocol design, and safeguards the delivery of care through rigorous scientific validation, ethical governance and an uncompromising commitment to long-term patient safety.

In-House Laboratory

Standards-enforced regenerative medicine

RMI operates an ISO-5 and ISO-7 certified in-house laboratory where cellular preparation, handling, and verification occur under controlled environmental standards. Processing is not outsourced to third-party distributors, preserving consistency and physician alignment.

In-House Laboratory Processing

Cell preparation is conducted internally within ISO-5 & ISO-7 environmental controls. Maintaining in-house processing reduces transport-related variability and preserves environmental control over: Temperature, Handling time, Sterility conditions, Batch tracking.

Quality Control & Batch Verification

Each cellular batch undergoes documented: Viability testing, Purity assessment, Documentation and labeling. Average live cell yield is approximately 92 percent, based on internal laboratory measurements.

Physician & Laboratory Oversight

Physicians and laboratory staff coordinate directly to align biological preparation with clinical timing. Preparation is synchronized with patient-specific treatment sequencing, not distributed through external intermediaries.

Standards-Driven Environment

The laboratory operates under ISO-5 & ISO-7 certification and is currently pursuing GMP compliance to further formalize regulatory alignment. Processes are structured to prioritize consistency, traceability, and controlled handling at every stage.

DISCLAIMER – RMI Health is a longevity and regenerative medicine clinic that provides advanced, medically supervised stem cell and related therapies under license from the Costa Rican Ministry of Health. All treatments are subject to eligibility criteria and are only recommended after a full clinical review by qualified physicians, which may include medical history, diagnostic testing, and consultation with your existing care team. Outcomes vary between individuals and depend on many factors—including diagnosis, overall health, and adherence to medical guidance—so no specific result, degree of improvement, or duration of benefit can be promised or guaranteed. As with any medical procedure, regenerative and stem cell therapies carry potential risks, side effects, and limitations, which will be discussed with you in advance to support informed decision‑making; RMI encourages patients to seek independent medical advice when needed and to consult insurers regarding coverage, as many longevity and regenerative treatments may be considered elective or investigational.
